Shoes First, Outfits Second: My Packing List for the Philippines

When it comes to travel, especially to warm diverse places like the Philippines, I always build my suitcase from the ground up–literally. With everything from busy city scenes and scenic hikes to white-sand beaches and dressy dinners, packing the right shoes makes all the difference. I narrowed it down to four versatile pairs that will cover every step of this two-week adventure.
Here’s a peek at the travel shoes I’m bringing, how I’m styling them, and why they made the cut:
-
UGG Goldenglow – Seasalt
These chunky yet airy sandals are my go-to for daily wear. The Sea Salt color is neutral enough to pair with everything, while the sporty silhouette makes it feel elevated. I’ll wear these on store runs, touring, or chill beach days. The platform gives a little boost, but the real win? I know they’ll be super comfortable in the humid heat.
Planned outfits: Flowy linen pants, babydoll dresses, or swimwear coverups
-
On Cloud 6 – Pearl/White
These are my designated walking shoes for everything from city touring to casual hikes or long travel days. The Pearl/White colorway is understated but sleek, and the lightweight feel will keep my feet from overheating. If I end up chasing waterfalls or exploring terraces, these will 100% be on my feet.
Planned outfits: Biker shorts + graphic tees, activewear sets, or linen shorts.
-
Dolce Vita Nolah – Cafe Multi
Just because I’m living out of a suitcase for 2 weeks doesn't mean I'm skipping cute dinners. These Nolah heels are surprisingly packable thanks to the block heel and strappy design, and the Cafe Multi color ties together everything from earth tones to black. I’m bringing these for nights out and sunset drinks.
Planned outfits: Babydoll dresses, cropped trousers + silky tops, or midi skirts
-
Birkenstock EVA – Light Rose
You need a waterproof, easy-to-clean shoe in the Philippines– there’s sand, saltwater, sudden downpours, and boat rides to consider. These Arizona EVAs are featherlight, perfect for throwing on with anything, and the Light Rose is a cute bonus. They’ll be my go-to for pool days, island hopping, or just running errands.
Planned outfits: Swimsuits + sarongs, bike shorts + oversized tees, or cami tanks.
Shoes are the first thing I pack because they anchor everything else– comfort weather, style, and spontaneity. These four pairs hit every mark, and I already know they’ll earn their place in my travel rotation again and again.
I cant wait to show you how I style each pair throughout the trip and
